Screening Test Technician (STT) Mock Collection:

The Mock Collection via webcast is designed ensure proficiency in collection by completing five consecutive error-free mock collections.
The Webcast Kit Includes:
Conference equipment, a DVD, a reference binder, and a written exam.
Equipment needed:
High-speed internet connection (DSL or Cable) and a standard phone line, no PC needed.
Course Details/Qualifications:
The session will qualify the collector to meets the DOT requirements (49 CFR Part 40).
Collection Process:
The initial training utilizing the DVD and paper test method will ensure that the collector meet the qualification training in the following subjects:
1) Steps necessary to complete a collection correctly and the proper completion and transmission of the CCF.
2) “Problem” collections (e.g., situations like “shy bladder” and tampered specimens).
3) Fatal Flaw and the correction process.
4) Overview of the collector’s responsibilities to maintain integrity and privacy, ensuring specimen security and appropriate conduct.
